Clifton stirred analogue water baths are designed for immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in a stable temperature environment.

The stainless steel tank is contained within a sturdy outer case and supplied complete with a stainless steel shelf, which provides good water circulation and temperature stability.

Stirred Clifton water baths feature a digital PID temperature controller and are designed for immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in an accurate temperature environment throughout the water bath.

Before leaving the factory, every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes factory calibration against a known traceable value. Each unit is electrically tested for safety during final inspection, with a test certificate enclosed in the instruction book.

Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial technology that inhibits bacterial growth, helping to support hygiene requirements in clinical and laboratory environments.

A broad range of accessories is available to suit different applications.

Safety Features

• The bath features a low liquid level float switch. This ensures heating will be switched off if the liquid level falls below the recommended level. The motor and heater are switched off in this instance.

Controls

Thermostatic temperature control, providing quick reliable selection and attainment of desired operating temperature. Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at 50°C for validation.

Heating/ Information

For water temperatures above 60°C we recommend that an accessory lid or layer of spheres are used for optimum performance. This will reduce evaporation and a lid will keep the samples and water free from contamination. Optimum performance saves energy by reducing electricity consumption and running costs.
