Head of Global Sales

Jon Horton

We are pleased to welcome Jon Horton, as of today as our Head of Global Sales

Jon has more than 20 years’ experience as an Export Manager in distribution sales and management; focusing on chemicals but, more recently, within the Life Sciences and Healthcare industries. As such he managed distributors across Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East.

Jon will oversee the distribution channel for all our products.

From now on Jon will be your main contact within Atom Scientific to develop, implement your sales and marketing plans and support you in your growth and improve the cooperation between our 2 companies.

International Team Lead
Joanna Matthews

Joanna Matthews started at Atom Scientific as a part time sales administrator in 2013 bringing experience in haulage logistics.

Over the years Joanna has moved up the ladder and gained the experience needed to become Atom Scientific’s Export Team Lead.

Focusing on Exporting Life Science & General Chemicals to Atom distributors across many countries, leading exhibitions and building her team to providing the best quality services to partners throughout the world.

Joanna has also gained qualifications in Air (IATA), Road (ADR) and Sea (IMDG) Shipping allowing us to offer an all-in-one service from initial enquiry to delivery of shipment.

By dealing with Atom Scientific, we assure you will receive a competent service of the highest standard.

European Key Account
Elise Foisseau

Elise Foisseau joined our team in 2019 as Export Key Accounts Manager.

Elise is of French origin who has been in the UK for the last 15 years.

Bringing knowledge in international shipping and logistics with extensive experience in the global chemical manufacturing sector. Now working client side as our European Key Account, using her skills and knowledge to help develop the European Export Market for Atom Scientific.

Elise has also gained qualifications in Air (IATA), Road (ADR) and Sea (IMDG) Shipping allowing us to offer an all-in-one service from initial enquiry to delivery of shipment.

DGSA
Our team are supported by an external DGSA, DGSA Tech, one of the UK’s leading DGSA
companies. DGSA Tech also provides our annual Dangerous Goods Awareness training program
given to our wider team to ensure our whole team has a strong and up-to-date understanding of shipping dangerous goods.

From One Box to 60 Pallets, our team have strong relationships with the best and most
efficient freight forwarders in the industry.

Export Documents

As a member of the British Chamber of Commerce, our team will provide all necessary
legal paperwork, including relevant export licenses to ensure shipments clear local
customs efficiently.
