The Sundstrom SR298 AX Gas Filter provides dependable respiratory protection for short-term applications involving organic gases and vapours. Designed for use with Sundstrom half masks and full face masks, this Class AX filter offers effective adsorption performance and low breathing resistance for use in controlled industrial environments.
AX Classification: Suitable for organic gases and vapours with boiling points at or below +65 C, within the limits defined by the manufacturers data sheet.
Activated Carbon Filtration: Optimised adsorption media ensures high capture efficiency and consistent protection.
Single-Use Design: Intended for one-time use to guarantee performance integrity under demanding conditions.
System Compatible: Fits securely with all Sundstrom half masks and full face masks, and may be combined with the SR 510 P3 R particle filter for dual gas and particulate protection.
Certified to EN 14387:2004 + A1:2008 and classified as a Type AX, Class 1 filter, in accordance with PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Designed for protection against low-boiling-point organic gases and vapours as defined under standard test conditions.
Recommended accessories include the SR 510 P3 R Particle Filter for combined protection against aerosols and the SR 221 Prefilter for extending service life during light dust exposure.
