Simax Sintered Glass Disc, Porosity 4, 10mm to 210mm Diameter, Borosilicate Glass

Simax sintered glass discs are manufactured from borosilicate glass and engineered for fine laboratory filtration and gas dispersion applications. The sintering process fuses graded glass particles to form a rigid, chemically resistant porous structure with consistent permeability.

Porosity 4 is an extra fine grade, offering significantly smaller pore channels than Porosity 0–3. This provides enhanced particle retention and improved clarification performance, while maintaining controlled flow characteristics appropriate for laboratory-scale work. Porosity 4 discs are typically selected where finer particulate removal or precise gas distribution is required.

Available in diameters from 10mm to 210mm, these discs can be integrated into sintered funnels, filter crucibles, gas washing bottles, and custom glass fabrication projects.
