Simax Sintered Glass Disc, Porosity 3, 10mm to 210mm Diameter, Borosilicate Glass

Simax sintered glass discs are manufactured from borosilicate glass and designed for precision filtration and gas dispersion within laboratory glassware systems. Produced by fusing carefully graded glass particles, the sintered structure forms a rigid and evenly distributed porous matrix.

Porosity 3 is a fine grade, offering significantly smaller pore channels than Porosity 0–2. This results in improved particle retention while maintaining practical flow characteristics for laboratory-scale work. Porosity 3 discs are commonly selected where finer clarification or more controlled gas distribution is required.

Available in diameters from 10mm to 210mm, these discs can be incorporated into filtration funnels, sintered filter crucibles, gas washing bottles, and custom fabricated apparatus.
