Simax sintered glass discs are manufactured from borosilicate glass and designed for use in filtration, gas dispersion, and support applications within laboratory assemblies. Porosity 1 is a coarse grade, finer than Porosity 0 but still offering relatively high flow rates. This grade provides moderate particle retention while maintaining good permeability, making it suitable for general coarse filtration, liquid distribution, and gas dispersion where minimal resistance is required.
