Sterlitech PTFE Unlaminated Membrane Filter Sheets, 1.0 Micron, Hydrophobic, 254mm x 3000mm
Sterlitech PTFE unlaminated membrane filters are constructed from pure expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), forming a uniform, microporous structure ideal for high-performance filtration in aggressive environments. These hydrophobic, unsupported membranes are designed for sterilisation and venting of air, gases, and solvent-based systems where conventional filters are unsuitable.
They are chemically and biologically inert, stable up to 260°C, and highly resistant to concentrated acids, bases, and solvents, making them well-suited for applications involving corrosive vapours, sterilising gas lines, or protecting instrumentation from moisture ingress.
Manufactured through a patented biaxial stretching process, these unlaminated PTFE membranes achieve high porosity while maintaining exceptional dimensional stability and chemical durability. Their hydrophobicity makes them especially effective in air or gas filtration systems containing water vapour, where liquid ingress must be avoided without compromising flow performance.
