What is the Orcein Shikata Stain? This stain is popular for staining hepatitis B surface antigen and copper associated protein commonly found in diseases such as Wilson’s disease and chronic biliary disease.

Please note, whilst this can often be used for CAP we would recommend the Victoria blue stain as this gives a greater degree of consistency.
