Sterlitech Grade VSS Glass Fibre Filters – High-Temperature Filters for Volatile Solids and Flue Gas Monitoring
Sterlitech Grade VSS glass fibre filters are binderless, high-performance filters engineered for volatile solids analysis at elevated temperatures. These filters meet the requirements of Standard Methods 2540E, 2540C, and 2540D, as well as EPA Method 160.2, making them ideal for environmental testing and high-temperature industrial filtration.
With a nominal retention of 1.5 µm, fast flow rates, and low fibre shedding, VSS filters are commonly used in air pollution monitoring, flue gas analysis, and filtration of high-temperature solvents. Manufactured from a proprietary high-heat glass chemistry, they offer superior thermal resistance up to 550°C, exceeding the limits of conventional borosilicate filters.
