Sterlitech Grade F Glass Fibre Filters – High-Purity Filters for TCLP and Spectroscopy Sample Preparation

Sterlitech Grade F glass fibre filters are binderless, fine-porosity filters designed for diluted aqueous solutions containing strong oxidizing, acidic, or alkaline components, especially in preparation for laser spectroscopy. With a nominal particle retention of 0.7 µm, Grade F is frequently paired with Grade D for multi-stage filtration and is compliant with EPA Method 1311 (TCLP).

These filters are also used for collecting extremely fine precipitated proteins, including immunoglobulins, in biological and analytical workflows. Constructed from pure borosilicate glass microfibers, they offer medium flow rates, excellent chemical resistance, and thermal stability up to 475°C.

Key Features

  • Binderless borosilicate glass microfiber for high chemical purity

  • Fine porosity with 0.7 µm nominal retention

  • Medium flow rate: 80 mL/min/cm²

  • Compliant with EPA Method 1311 (TCLP)

  • Thermal resistance up to 475°C

  • Thickness: 0.4 mm | Weight: 80 g/m²

Common Applications

  • Sample preparation for laser spectroscopy

  • TCLP testing (EPA Method 1311)

  • Filtration of chemically aggressive aqueous solutions

  • Collection of immunoglobulins and fine protein precipitates

  • Use in multi-stage filtration with Grade D
