Sterlitech Grade D Glass Fibre Filters – High-Volume Prefilters for Repetitive Laboratory Filtration

Sterlitech Grade D glass fibre filters are binderless, coarse-porosity filters designed for high-throughput and repetitive filtration tasks. With a nominal particle retention of 2.7 µm and a fast flow rate, they are particularly well suited as general-purpose prefilters, helping to extend the life of primary membrane filters in multi-stage filtration systems.

Constructed from pure borosilicate glass microfibers, these filters offer low extractables, high thermal stability, and reliable mechanical performance, even under continuous use.

Key Features

  • Binderless borosilicate glass microfiber for high purity

  • Coarse porosity with 2.7 µm nominal retention

  • Fast flow rate: 5 mL/min/cm²

  • Thick, durable structure for repeated use

  • Thermal resistance up to 475°C

  • Thickness: 0.6 mm | Weight: 120 g/m²

Common Applications

  • High-volume laboratory filtration

  • General-purpose prefiltration

  • Sample clarification in multi-stage workflows

  • Environmental and industrial liquid processing
