Advantec GD-120 Glass Fibre Filters – High-Capacity Prefilters for Analytical and Gravimetric Applications

Advantec GD-120 glass fibre filters are binderless, coarse-porosity filters designed as robust prefilters for particle-rich samples in analytical and gravimetric workflows. With a nominal retention of 0.9 µm and very high dirt loading capacity, these filters are ideal for protecting finer membranes and improving filtration efficiency in multi-stage setups.

Made from pure borosilicate microfibers, GD-120 filters combine high wet strength with fast flow rates, making them suitable for preclarification, liquid filtration, and particulate-laden environmental samples. Their durability and low extractables ensure clean and consistent performance in demanding laboratory applications.

Key Features

  • Binderless glass microfiber construction

  • Coarse porosity with 0.9 µm nominal retention

  • Fast flow rate: 14 mL/min/cm²

  • Very high particulate loading capacity

  • High wet strength and thermal resistance up to 500°C

  • Thickness: 0.51 mm | Weight: 123 g/m²

Common Applications

  • Prefiltration for analytical and gravimetric testing
