HI-700682P Electrode Cleaning Solution for Beer and Wort

Cleaning solution for Beer and Wort at all stages of the brewing process.

Electrodes can become dirty from use and will produce inaccurate results even if they read correctly in a pH buffer. Hanna’s cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues that are left on electrode surfaces when immersed in samples during measurement and stored incorrectly.

Regular cleansing and proper care ensures the electrode is correctly maintained for maximum performance to achieve accurate readings, faster response times, and repeatability.

Simply immerse in the chosen cleaning solution for the instructed time to dissolve any mineral deposits or other coatings. Choose from General Purpose, Protein, Inorganic, and Oil and Fats Cleaning Solutions. Specialist rinses are also available for removal of chocolate, wine, salt, cheese, milk, soil, Humus, and agricultural deposits to name a few.

Which cleaning solution to use . . .?

General Cleaning

Soak in Hanna General Cleaning Solution (HI-7061) for between 30 minutes and 1-and-a-half hours to dissolve mineral deposits and other general coatings. (Non-aggressive formula).

Protein Coating

Soak in Hanna Protein Cleaning Solution (HI-7073) for 15 minutes to enzymatically dissolve deposits from protein sources.

Inorganic Soak

Soak in Hanna Inorganic Cleaning Solution for 5 to 15 minutes. This cleaner is especially effective at removal of precipitates caused by possible reactions - Usually used in industrial applications.

Oil and Grease Rinse

Oil and grease removal requires the correct chemicals to dissolve the coating, but mild enough to leave the electrode unaffected. Use Fat Cleaning Solution for effective cleaning after each measurement, followed by flushing with tap water.

Choose from the list below for your application. Most of the product codes below are for the 20ml x 25 sachets which are a great way to ensure your solution is always fresh, but do check with us before ordering if you require a greater quantity. For instance, your application’s cleaning solution may be available in a 500ml or 230ml bottle.
