Meet Pete - Manufacturing

With 16 years of experience in food production, followed by 10 years working in a bakery, Pete brings a strong background in production, quality control and health & safety. During this time, he developed a thorough understanding of maintaining high standards and ensuring processes were carried out safely and efficiently.

He is a big support to the team, always willing to help where needed and share his knowledge and experience.

Can you tell us about your role at Atom Scientific?

“I have been with Atom for 15 years this year, I am one of the few people who have been here since the very beginning, and over the years there is very little I haven’t been involved in. I have run both the bottling and distribution teams, worked in manufacturing and as a shop floor manager, and have trained and supported many members of staff throughout my time here.

I am now working in manufacturing, where I continue to support the team and make sure I am there whenever they need help. With my experience across different areas of the business, I am able to step in where needed”

“My achievements and all the skills I have learnt along the way”

What made you want to join the Atom team?

“It was different from any other job I had done before. I had never worked with chemicals, so I wanted to give it a try, and I’ve loved it ever since.
