Meet Paula, Our New Head of Compliance

At Atom Scientific, our team is the heart of everything we do. This month, we’re introducing Paula, our Head of Compliance, who brings decades of expertise and a sharp eye for detail to keep our standards high.

Can you tell us about your role at Atom Scientific?

“As Head of Compliance, I make sure we’re meeting all our legal obligations and standards. My role involves understanding what we need to do and finding ways to either improve efficiency or enhance what we do. It’s all about ensuring continuity while moving the business forward.”

What’s something you’re most proud of since working here?

“In a short time, I feel I’ve been able to add real value. One highlight has been working on a new compliance system that helps us demonstrate legal compliance – something that’s absolutely my number one priority.”

What made you want to join the Atom team?

“From my first meetings with Yvonne and Pete, and while auditing and sitting with people, I really connected with Pete’s ethos. It was clear that people genuinely matter here. Even in day-to-day work, there’s a strong underlying value that each person is important, and that core value really resonated with me.”
