Kyle brings a solid foundation in health & safety, operational efficiency and team-based working to his role.
Having completed a four-year apprenticeship within a highly regulated food production setting, Kyle gained hands-on experience with COSHH, HACCP and safe working practices. These skills support his contribution to the operational and quality-focused work carried out at Atom.
“I’m responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of order processing and outbound logistics. I moved into distribution after working in bottling, which gives me a strong understanding of both sides of the operation and allows me to work with great flexibility.
I collaborate closely with the team to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.”
“I’m most proud of engagement from my team and my own development.
I’ve grown a lot in my role, and I’ve taken every opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone. Whether it’s getting involved in company culture, supporting health & safety work with other teams, or helping colleagues, I’m always eager to take on new challenges.
I’ve recently completed my standard FLT training and I’m now undertaking training on the bendi truck to support Atom’s relocation to a new distribution centre. To support the distribution relocation, I have been gathering and coordinating team ideas, I am focused on long term solutions and have been working on the design of the new workbenches.”
“I joined after hearing about Atom from a former colleague who spoke highly of the team and the working environment.
I was motivated by the opportunity to contribute my skills and make a meaningful impact. While I didn’t have a background in chemicals, I brought strong experience in health & safety and production systems, and I saw it as a chance to take on a new challenge and expand my knowledge.”
“I am the oldest of 8 siblings, and I’ve always had a passion for history. I’d call myself a bit of a history nerd. I’ve visited most of the museums in Manchester and also travel abroad regularly to explore museums, particularly in the United States.”
