Advantec GA-55 Glass Fibre Filters – General-Purpose Filters for Air Monitoring and Analytical Use

Advantec GA-55 glass fibre filters are binderless, fine-porosity filters widely used in air pollution monitoring, gravimetric analysis, and general laboratory filtration. With a nominal particle retention of 0.6 µm and fast flow rates, these filters offer reliable performance in applications requiring the capture of fine particulates while maintaining throughput.

Constructed from pure borosilicate glass microfibers, GA-55 filters are free from binders, ensuring high purity, low extractables, and excellent thermal resistance up to 500°C. Their thin profile and fast flow make them a preferred option for environmental air testing and analytical workflows.

Key Features

  • Binderless construction for high purity and minimal interference

  • Fine porosity with 0.6 µm nominal retention

  • Fast flow rate: 23 mL/min/cm²

  • High thermal stability up to 500°C

  • Thin 0.21 mm filter thickness for rapid throughput

  • Weight: 55 g/m²

Common Applications

  • Air pollution and particulate monitoring

  • Gravimetric and environmental analysis

  • General-purpose laboratory filtration
