Our Formalin/EDTA Decalcifier (Hilleman & Lee 1953) is excellent for trephines.

It offers a well controlled gentler decalcification process delivering excellent H & E Staining whilst also ideal for Immunocytochemistry.

Small bone spicules can be decalcified in 5-7 days.

For specimens with dense cortical bone, total decalcification may take 6-weeks.
