Brucella Medium Base is a general purpose medium for the cultivation of Brucella spp. and other fastidious microorganisms.
Brucella Medium Base has been developed from the APHA formulation for Albimi broth.
The peptones act as carbon, nitrogen and vitamin source in this medium. Glucose is a fermentable carbohydrate and sodium chloride maintains the osmotic balance of the medium.
Used for the cultivation of Brucella spp. and other fastidious microorganisms.
