Meet Yasmin, our Quality Assurance Officer

Yasmin brings a PhD in Chemistry and hands on lab experience from the University of Manchester to her work at Atom Scientific.

With a sharp eye for detail and a strong foundation in technical analysis, time management, and organisation, Yasmin plays a key role in quality assurance.

Can you tell us about your role at Atom Scientific?

"Every day is different. At the moment, I’m working on a major project focused on quality assurance. I also carry out daily water checks and collaborate closely with the bottling team to ensure the dosing line is accurate, and that labels and quantities are correct. In addition, I handle certificates of analysis and technical documentation."

What’s something you’re most proud of since working here?

"I’m most proud of the work I have been doing for one of our big projects, the positive feedback reflected the quality of my work, which was really encouraging. I’ll be soon doing the process independently for the first time and I am excited to take it on."

What made you want to join the Atom team?

“Everyone seemed very friendly, and now that I’m here, they really are, the team has been so welcoming. I also wanted to gain experience in an industry setting where I could apply the skills from my PhD to real world projects. It’s been great to see the full process from testing the chemicals to their distribution and to be part of that workflow.”
