Meet Sam, Distribution & Export Team

Meet Sam, part of the Distribution & Export Team at Atom Scientific. Sam joined the team in February 2017 and brings reliability, practical experience, and a detail-focused approach to his role.

Before joining Atom Scientific, Sam gained experience in distribution and packing, where he helped ensure customer orders were prepared and dispatched accurately. This developed his strong attention to detail and reinforced the importance of maintaining customer satisfaction with every order.

Can you tell us about your role?

Sam initially joined Atom Scientific in a part-time bottling role alongside bulk stock work. After around a year, he moved across departments to gain broader experience and became cross-trained in powders, bottling, distribution, and export.

His main focus is distribution and export, where he is responsible for picking and packing orders, accurate palletising, and supporting smooth daily operations. He works closely with team leads to help keep tasks moving efficiently.

What's something you're most proud of working here?

Since joining Atom Scientific, Sam is proud of gaining a wide range of qualifications, including DGN training for Sea, Air, and Road, as well as FLT, Bendi truck, scissor lift, first aid, and fire warden training.

These skills support his day-to-day work across distribution and export, helping the team maintain safe, accurate, and reliable order handling.

What made you want to join the Atom Team?

Sam joined Atom Scientific to gain more experience and expand his skills. He values the opportunities available within the business and enjoys being part of a team where he can contribute and continue to develop.
